A Psalm of David (Detwiler)
I praise you Lord for your mercy
and kindness! Thank you Lord for helping me in my time of despair
and anxiety! You know me and you know my weakness, you know my need.
You have given me your Spirit as a comfort and guide. Your power
cannot be matched! I have called on you and you have heard my pleading
for your intervention. You have renewed my strength! You have
given me another victory over my self-doubt and insecurities. I praise
you for your faithfulness! When I ask, you give. I know I can
depend on you in any circumstance to stand with me! Oh God, thank
you for the encouragement you give me. When condemnation and doubt
begin to gain a hold and I cry out to you for help, you send me peace.
Your Holy Spirit ministers to me; opening my eyes to see the value I have
in you. You reveal your power to me over and over! May I never
forget what you have done for me!
